The 14th National Symposium on Biomedical Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry and Related Technologies was held in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, China from May 5 to May 8, 2023. At the opening ceremony, it was announced that Yuting Xiong, a postdoctoral fellow in our group, was awarded the "Youth Innovation Award in Separation Science". This award aims to promote the development of chromatography in China, encourage young scholars in the field of chromatography to carry out innovative scientific research, and promote the sustainable development of chromatography in China, and is jointly established by Wukong Instruments and the Chromatography Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society from 2021 onwards. At the meeting, CAS Academician Prof. Zhang Yukui and Prof. Jiang Guibin personally presented the awards to the winners.

      Dr. Yuting Xiong has published 30 SCI papers, including 9 papers as the first authors, including 2 papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc., 2 papers in Anal. Chem., papers in Appl. Surf. Sci., Sci. Rep., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, etc., and two papers as corresponding authors in Chem. Commun. and NPG Asia Mater. She has been selected for the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics's Outstanding Postdoctoral Program in 2020 and received the Young Scientists Fund from the National Science Foundation of China in 2021.
