From September 24th to 28th, 2023, our postdoctoral fellow Shi Zhenqiang went to Guangzhou to participate in the advanced training course "Research on the Frontline of New Biomaterials and High end Medical Devices" organized by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, organized by South China University of Technology, and co organized by the Guangdong Research Institute of New Biomaterials and High end Medical Devices.

    This training course focuses on the cutting-edge research progress of new biomaterials and high-end medical devices, and has invited representatives from South China University of Technology, High end Medical Device Institute, National Human Tissue Function Reconstruction Engineering Technology Research Center, National Medical Device Regulatory Scientific Research Base of the State Food and Drug Administration, Key Laboratory of Innovative Biomaterial Medical Device Research and Evaluation of the State Food and Drug Administration, Guangdong Medical Device Management Society, Guangzhou First People's Hospital A total of 9 professors and industry experts from 8 units, including Hatch Capital, gave lectures to all students. The courses included "Transformation of Biomedical Device Achievements and Industrial Development Status", "Current Situation and Innovative Development Opportunities of Guangdong Medical Device Industry", "Financing and Development Logic of Biomedical Enterprises", "Frontiers of Antibacterial Materials, Technology and Application", "3D Printing Orthopedic Medical Devices and Clinical Applications" Research and Development and Transformation of Innovative Biomaterial Medical Devices, Science of Biomaterial and Medical Device Regulation, etc.

    Dr. Shi said: the course design of this seminar combines theory with practice, with rich case studies; at the same time, I am able to exchange and learn with professional technical personnel and middle and senior management personnel engaged in the field of biomedical materials and medical devices from universities, research institutes, and enterprises across the country, and have gained a lot.
