Congratulations to Dr. Li Xiaopei and Dr. Shi Zhenqiang for passing the postdoctoral defense

On the morning of November 14, 2023, Dr. Li Xiaopei and Dr. Shi Zhenqiang of our group gave a postdoctoral outbound report in the conference room 106 of the Biology Building. The meeting was chaired by the leader of our group, Researcher Qing Guangyan, and was composed of the defense committee Prof. Yin Heng, Prof. Yang Kaiguang, Prof. Li Xiuling, Prof. Zhang Haijun, and Prof. Zhang Xiaozhe reviewed the research work of the two postdoctoral fellows.
Postdoctoral fellow Li Xiaopei's report was titled "New aggregation-induced enhanced emission aromatic molecules: 2-aminophenylboronic acid dimer and 2-hydroxyphenylboronic acid dimer", and postdoctoral fellow Shi Zhenqiang's report was titled "Precise separation of endotoxins for severe blood purification" Material". Experts attending the meeting reviewed that the research work of Dr. Li Xiaopei and Dr. Shi Zhenqiang met the requirements for postdoctoral exit, and they unanimously agreed to exit. Dr. Li Xiaopei worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from June 2019 to August 2023. His co-supervisor is Researcher Qing Guangyan. During his stay at the station, he mainly conducted research on new aggregation-induced enhanced emission aromatic molecules. He published 2 papers in the journals Chem. Sci. and Nat. Commun. as the first author or corresponding author, and applied for and authorized one national invention patent.
Dr. Shi Zhenqiang will engage in postdoctoral research at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from October 2020 to November 2023. His co-supervisor is researcher Qing Guangyan. During my stay at the station, I mainly conducted research on accurate endotoxin separation materials for severe blood purification. Related work was published in journals such as Advanced Materials (IF=29.4) and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces (IF=9.5) as the first author or corresponding author. 3 articles, applied for 2 national invention patents, and presided over 1 key R&D project in Sichuan Province and 1 doctoral startup project in Liaoning Province.
