On October 13-17, 2019, our group Xiong Yuting and others went to Beijing to participate in the advanced seminar on "Biomacromolecule Structure and Function Analysis Technology" organized by the Protein Science Research Platform of the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. This seminar mainly introduces six technologies including X-ray diffraction, nuclear magnetic resonance, surface plasmon resonance, isothermal titration calorimetry, analytical ultracentrifugation and isotope, and their applications in basic scientific research and pharmaceutical research, which greatly promotes the structure of biological macromolecule Communication and learning with functional analysis technology.

  The seminar is divided into two parts: special report and hands-on seminar. On October 14th and 15th, invited experts and senior engineers will introduce their applications in their own scientific research fields based on the above six technologies, share rich experience methods from practical problems, broaden the students' horizons, and give valuable opinions. On October 16th and 17th, the senior engineer led the students to practice and discuss on the machine, systematically trained the instrument operation, and started a heated discussion on various problems that occurred in the experiment, with remarkable results.

  Through this seminar, we have learned new knowledge and skills, benefited greatly, and provided tremendous help for future scientific research.
